The scales have tipped

Last Friday, President Trump fired a number of senior FBI officials. I’ve read differing accounts, but all indicate about seven or eight senior officials in Washington were fired, and between 26-45 spread throughout the country. At the same time, department heads were told to produce lists of agents involved in J6 prosecutions.

The left, who we now recognize as devoted communists, were upset. However, President Trump had a perfectly righteous reason: the J6 prosecutions were unlawful. Why? Because all defendants were denied due process. Some were held in custody without charges for years. The J6 protests themselves weren’t unlawful, many of the allegations were false, and in a large number of cases, the charges either weren’t crimes, or were misdemeanors.

There is no way the leadership was unaware that the J6 prosecutions were themselves illegal. This is why they had to be fired. Prosecutors, investigators, and other agents who worked on the cases either knew the prosecutions were illegal or should have known. If they didn’t know, it was because they were incompetent at their jobs. Regardless, they are responsible for their actions.

And now, some of the higher-ranking officials responsible for the unjust J6 prosecutions are gone. This is a major inflection point in Trump’s presidency. Up until last Friday, Trump had done many great things: signed hundreds of important executive orders, eliminated DEI, started the flow of water in California, freed the J6 prisoners (most of them), established DOGE, froze hiring in government, and more. At every step of the way, Trump was opposed.

Trump’s blitzkrieg-style attack was irresistible. The left tried to hold him back, but failed. They couldn’t. He was too fast. As they formed carefully considered objections to one thing, Trump had already moved on to another. However, the FBI firings were crucial. They were a lynchpin in the left’s defense strategy. As long as they had corrupted intelligence agents on their side, they were in a position to do harm.

By taking out corrupt and untrustworthy agents, Trump eliminated an essential element of the left’s defense. Until that happened, at the end of each day I went to bed worried about what our traitorous and corrupt political elite would do to frustrate Trump’s efforts to restore the integrity of our government. Without their help, and now with their records fully exposed to investigators, it is only a matter of time before their malfeasance is fully exposed.

Even better, over the weekend, DOGE closed down USAID. As a consequence, what appears to be the black budget for unwise, unethical, and criminal intelligence operations has been cut off. Even better, it exposes another treasure trove of documentation of bad acts.

These were decapitation strikes. It may take a little while to find the most important documents, but they will be found. These two acts together: taking out corrupt leadership at the FBI and shutting down USAID, will open the floodgates. Whistleblowers will now feel comfortable coming forward. The document trail has been preserved to the extent possible.

Is it possible the Democrat party survives this? I don’t see how. The Republican party will be taking some hits also. Our political landscape is about to be so dramatically rehabilitated that in a few years, it will be unrecognizable.

Trump is on the right path, and he’s doing his job in exactly the way he has to: fast, and with overwhelming force. Every cabinet member he puts in place, like any good employee, multiplies the effect. As soon as Tom Homan was installed as border czar, illegals started getting deported, crime started going down, and our border was sealed. The same will happen when Kash Patel is made Director the FBI, Pam Bondi is made Attorney General, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is made Director of Health and Human Services.

The left is trying to fight back, but like Canada, Mexico, Panama, and Greenland, they’ve already lost.
