As I wrote a few weeks ago, I let my beard and hair grow when I discovered that J6 inmates weren’t allowed haircuts or shaves. This started in 2021. Since then, my hair grew very long and I acquired a beard the size of a catcher’s mitt. The deal I made with myself was that they would keep growing until the J6 prisoners were released.
Last night, President Trump commuted the sentences of about 20 J6 prisoners and pardoned the remainder, about 1,500 in all. He didn’t stop there. He also ordered all ongoing pending J6-related indictments to be dismissed with prejudice. This much, most mainstream news reported.
What I didn’t know until I read the text of another executive order, was that President Trump isn’t stopping with the pardons. A different executive order make it clear that Adam Schiff and his cronies have reason to worry.
The order, “ENDING THE WEAPONIZATION OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT” commands the new Attorney General (Pam Bondi) to investigate various agencies and people, including the DOJ, SEC, and FTC. The AG is directed to find all persons responsible for civil rights violations under color of law (as an agent of the federal government). The results are to be sent to President Trump, along with suggested “remedies.”
Anyone who refuses to comply is referred to the Attorney General and possible prosecution. This order would cover the actions of anyone involved in investigating, harrassing, arresting, prosecuting (unlawfully), and mistreatment of any J6 hostages. Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and many others fall under this heading.
As I read it, the order would also apply to people in government who persecuted President Trump himself. Letitia James, Fanni Willis, Jack Smith, Judge Merchan, the Gollum-like judge whose name I always forget (Engeron), and many others fit into this category. Not only that, but the order makes it clear that the policy of protecting the civil rights of US citizens is prospective as well as retrospective.
In other words, if you did it, you’re in trouble. If you do it in the future, you’re also in trouble. Depending on how seriously Philadelphia’s Soros-supported DA, Larry Krasner, feels about his chances, this may apply to him as well. This is because Krasner is reportedly attempting to come up with an end run around President Trump’s J6 pardons by indicting them again on state charges.
Watching the reaction reminds me of a common sight in the Netherlands. Much of the country is built on very sandy soil, causing pools of quicksand, called “Drijftzand” in Dutch. Near my house was a large public park decorated with a combination of cows and warning signs that read (translated) “Warning! Quicksand!” I always wondered if some of those cows couldn’t read and wandered into the quicksand.
Once in, they can’t get out. This is one of the reasons the Netherlands is reputed to have more mastodon fossils than any other country in the world: soft sand brings down even the most ferocious and powerful dinosaurs. And now, thanks to Trump, we may be seeing something similar, where Trump’s orders (warning signs) have been posted where the swamp creatures can see them, but their corruption blinds them to the danger and they walk right in.
I imagine at night under a full moon, the scene might look like hundreds of gigantic silhouetted writhing tentacles. Not for long.
PS: as promised, I got my haircut today. I had most of the beard cut off, but am undecided on going completely clean shaven.
This is all great, great news. But there also needs to be restitution for those falsely imprisoned. How do we not only make them free, but whole again. Help me beat, not only the accountability drum, but also the drum of restitutions for those imprisoned.
I like feral Andrew. Yeah, I know you can't go around looking like that forever, but you will always be feral Andrew to me.
