There is a clear cerulean blue sky this morning. Snow covers the ground. The air is fresh. Sun streams across every driveway. My neighbors wave to me as we plow our respective driveways. And today, President Trump is inaugurated for the second time.
I’ll be sixty this year, but have a spring in my step. Of all the days in all my years, this one strikes me as the most appropriate to break out into song:
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It's the truth, it's actual
Ev'rything is satisfactual
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day, yes sir!
Never mind I live in New York and it’s the middle of the winter. This song from the movie Song of the South perfectly describes my mood this morning.
Our J6 prisoners are likely to be pardoned, if not released, later today. President Trump has promised to sign 200 executive orders, like so many Christmas presents, each of which promises to compound good on top of good on top of good.
We have lived with evil for so long now, that the prospect of sweeping it out fills my heart with joy.
Thank you God for bringing us Donald Trump. Thank you for guiding him, protecting him, and inspiring him! Thank you for answering our prayers! Thank you for giving us another chance to remember your divine guidance and to follow it!
My oh my, what a wonderful day.
Welcome home, President Trump!
Of all the issues, freedom for Jan 6th political prisoners is at the top of the list. Every politician and political hack should be responsible for the compensatory financial damages, which will (and should) number in the billion$.
I made this little tune/video for todays auspicious occasion:
