I love near-death experience science. I immerse myself in it daily. It's my North Star. I even think I'm starting to convince AI about its reality :) The NDE literature seems clear to me... We are all beloved... ALL being the operative word :)

Well, except for obvious carve outs like Jimmy Kimmel :)

Actually, I think "All" is correct, despite the theme of this post. The post, btw, is inspired by three people in particular, all of whom post prolifically on a variety of subjects, and all of whom have chosen to ignore Charlie Kirk. I say chosen because they post on almost everything else, including Charlie-adjacent topics. That said, I do believe God loves us all, and we are better off if we can remain unperturbed by the evil around us.

So, I don't think there is a carve out for Kimmel, though I found his comments on Charlie disappointing. Others said much worse than he did, but the issue was more that his statements falsely defamed Charlie and a lot of other people at once.

That said, from God's perspective, it's probably a learning opportunity, as you are reminding me now. From my perspective though, I am very disappointed in people who can complain about Kimmel losing his show without mentioning that Charlie lost his life. Again, I am thinking of some very specific people here, so this is not generically applicable.

I have not written about Kirk's murder in my Substack yet, nor have I discussed it with anybody much. My wife and I exchanged a few thoughts on it the day after it happened. Frankly, I'm scared that if I start talking about it too much, I'll start saying things I'll regret later.

That makes sense. In this post, I'm writing about specific people who write about politics frequently, and who have touched on Charlie-adjacent subjects, like the first amendment and Jimmy Kimmel, without mentioning Charlie.
