The ethics of photojournalism in war

Last night, a friend asked me to comment on a recent story about photojournalists in Israel during the Hamas attack on October 7th. The story is about a statement made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who complained that journalists who worked with CNN, the New York Times, Reuters, and the Associated Press were all linked to Hamas.
