When President Trump first said he wanted people to vote early and by mail, I didn’t like the idea. Some people called or wrote to me, asking my opinion on the subject. At the time, I didn’t like the idea. After all, the early/absentee vote may have been the key ingredient used to steal the 2020 election.
More recently, I began to see what might be the logic behind the idea. In 2020, Democrats used mail-in ballots as their bottomless black bag of extra votes, and early voting as a way to sway polls and public opinion. If conservatives in 2024 cast overwhelming numbers of early and mail-in ballots, the bad guys have less room to play with. They have to deal with the publicity surrounding vote counts that favor Trump, and run a greater risk of exposure because the votes are happening before Election Day. That means more time to fix whatever goes wrong.
Trump has some very sharp people working with him. They know just about every type of election fraud committed in 2020. I’ve even been told that my research on voter roll algorithms has been discussed at Mar a Lago. There is no chance that Trump or his team are unaware of the methods used to steal 2020.
They’ve had almost four years to study ways to defeat election fraud. You can see the effect of that in numerous lawsuits that successfully strengthened election integrity meaures across the country. Behind the scenes, they must have worked out it would be a good thing if their voters voted early or by mail-in ballot. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be talking about it so much.
With so much attention on election fraud, there is no way the Trump team could possibly be naive at this point. With all that in mind, my wife and I drove to the polls and cast our votes today. All red, all MAGA, all Trump.
Last, I am happy to report that they did a much better job checking my identity than any previous election I’ve participated in New York. They didn’t check an ID, but did do a good signature match and didn’t show me my address before asking what my address is. That said, I still don’t trust the use of electronic devices at any stage of the electoral process, from registration to tabulation. I hope they are all removed forever. Same for mail-in ballots.
I'm an election inspector and a GOP election district rep in Irondequoit NY. I worked early election last Saturday and will work next Saturday and on election day with my wife. We plan to vote this coming Saturday. Thank you for putting the talents God gave you to try and save our constitutional republic. Lord bless you and your family!
Totally agree. I will never trust an election process that uses computers and mail-in ballots. Like Naomi Wolf so simply said, "As I keep trying to explain to everyone, televising a physical process of any kind that also includes an electronic scanner is meaningless theater. The only way to make sure that the votes have been counted properly is to see the code. Which the machine manufacturers claim is proprietary. So you nee a cyber audit.
